About:
Nicolai Risbjerg (DK) is a sculptor and performance artist educated at Bergen Academy of Fine Arts in 2020 and studies a Master of Art in Public Spaces at Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
He was granted the Anne Marie-Carl Nielsen Talent Prize in 2024 and a work grant from the Danish Art Foundation in 2025.

Nicolai Risbjerg works with creating alternative narratives and perspectives on gender, love, and identity. With a playful approach, he places recognizable symbols in new contexts, exploring our perception of ourselves and each other, with the aim of fostering a more queer, loving, and inclusive society.
